5 Super Easy Sangrias Recipes To Make This Summer

Sangria is a refreshing wine-based cocktail you can relish year-round. This beverage is regularly prepared early in a massive clump so the fruit can assimilate a portion of the liquor flavor and thusly give flavor to the cocktail. The loger the sangria sits in the fridge before serving, the more tasty it becomes.

Things You'll Need

  • 4 cups fresh brewed iced tea (I used passionfruit jasmine)
  • 2 cups white wine (you can also use red)
  • honey or simple syrup (to taste; my friends liked it very sweet so I used between 1/2 to 1 cup of simple syrup)
  • 2 cups chopped fresh fruit (I used strawberries, nectarines and mangoes)
Note: If you use honey, heat it in the microwave for a few seconds so that it dissolves in the sangria easier. To make your own simple syrup, boil 1 cup water with 1 cup granulated white sugar until sugar is dissolved. then let syrup cool a little before adding in to tea/wine mixture.

Method

Combine tea, wine and honey (or simple syrup) until honey is dissolved and sangria reaches desired sweetness. Refrigerate for several hours or overnight. Before serving, add in fresh fruit. Serve chilled, over ice.
